Our Chicken Mole is made with chicken breast and leg meat simmered in a delicious mole sauce made of a traditional blend of spices, making a rich and flavorful dish. Great on its own or incorporated into other dishes like tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, and over rice.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

MICROWAVE

  1. Remove plastic overwrap and leave bag in tray.
  2. Heat on high for 1.5 minutes, rotate the pouch 1/2 turn, puncutre 2 small holes in the pouch, and cover with a paper towel.
  3. Heat on high an additional 1.5 minutes until center is hot (165ºF). Let stand for 2 minutes.
  4. Open pouch carefully and empty contents into serving tray.

Note: Microwave ovens vary in rates of heating. Times given are approximate.

STOVE TOP

  1. In a 12 quart pot, heat about 5 quarts of water to about 200ºF.
  2. Place pouch of Chicken Mole in water, maintain water temperature between 190ºF - 200ºF.
  3. Heat for approximately 45 minutes or until core temperature reaches a minimum 165ºF.
  4. Open pouch carefully and empty contents into serving tray.
