Our Chicken Green Pozole stew is prepared with boneless, skinless chicken. It is boiled with hominy and a flavorful blend of fresh tomatillos, poblano peppers, jalapeño peppers, cilantro and spices. Pozole is traditionally served hot and is most often topped with chopped onion, shredded cabbage, lime juice, and dry oregano.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

MICROWAVE

  1. Remove paper sleeve from tray and place pouch in a microwave safe bowl/plate.
  2. Microwave on high for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Flip bag over and puncture 2 holes in the bag.
  3. Microwave an additional 2 minutes and 30 seconds or until core temperature reaches a minimum of 165°F. Let it stand for 2 minutes.
  4. Open bag carefully, and empty content into a bowl.
  5. Serve Pozole and enjoy!

Note: Microwave ovens vary in rates of heating. Times given are approximate.

STOVE TOP

  1. Remove paper sleeve from tray and empty pouch into a 2-quart saucepan.
  2. Warm Pozole over medium heat for about 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Continue heating until core temperature reaches a minimum of 165°F.
  4. Serve Pozole and enjoy!
